Director

David can either be hired as a solo freelance director on existing projects or independent productions, where he can provide all the crew, equipment and facilities. Directing varies greatly from project to project but whether it's a commercial for your business or product, a film, documentary or music video, David will meet with you too discuss all your needs to achieve your desired outcome.  As a director he'll then determine the best way to film and edit your production including locations, shots, camera moves, lighting, casting and deliver the final product on time and budget.

Writer

Have an idea that you need written?  David can develop your concept or story for a short film, feature film, TV series or documentary.  Depending on your project requirements he can write a full script draft to industry standard or develop documents including story outlines, treatments and pitch materials for production companies.  He can also undertake rewrites of existing projects.

Script Editor

David has worked with many experienced writers as well as mentoring early career writers.  He can read your draft and provide detailed written feedback notes on story structure, character development and  writing your next draft.  He'll either meet in person or on Skype for feedback sessions.  For early career writers he can teach you writing and developing treatments, scene breakdowns and drafted scenes. 

Lecturer/Teacher

David has taught Screenwriting and Film Making for over 15 years in Australia and overseas at all levels of education including University, TAFE, Private Colleges and individual tutoring and mentorship.
